Why a land line? First, because I love the sound of a dial tone. Second, because I found the same model phone I had as a teenager and I could not resist it. Third, because it amuses me to no end. You’ll soon find that amusement is a highly prized feeling for me. Lastly, I do want to say that I currently have the ringer off on this telephone to avoid spammers and scammers. I am contemplating holding office hours with this phone, where I will post times when I will turn the ringer on and you can reach me directly — but in the meantime, please feel free to leave a voicemail.
